At Penzeys our customers are cooks and the main thing to know about cooks is that they care. In this time of Coronavirus we model our workplace on the way cooks live: caring enough to wear masks, to keep safe social distances, and to look out for one another. 

In these uncertain times there’s much to be said for an industry that’s thrived throughout times both good and bad. The spice trade’s been going strong 10,000 plus years, and with the growth in demand we’ve seen these past few months, we don’t see that ending anytime soon.

Our Production department packages spices and seasonings into jars and bags for distribution to our stores and mail order customers. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn!  

As an employee in the production department, some of the day to day tasks include:

-Operating a machine

-Verifying quality of spices, seasonings, and packaging

-Packaging and Palletizing

-Cleaning machinery
